Our client is a leading organisation in the distribution of Hospital equipment that promotes greater mobility with dignity as well as taking strides in preventing the impact of immobility. Their objective is to empower movement and protect the wellbeing of caregivers. They are currently seeking to grow their Clinical Outcomes Division by hiring 2 Account Managers. This role covers Dublin, Southeast, Cavan & Monaghan.

 

You will be joining a robust sales team based in based in the Republic of Ireland covering the Southeast region. You will be responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities with specific focus on the clinical support and customer adoption of a device that provides a solution to prevent pressure ulcers. The successful person will work in parallel with the Sales Manager to drive clinical adoption and customer engagement at user level. As the primary contact for these accounts, you will ensure the protocols under the SLA’s are adhered to and adapted where necessary based on Customer feedback.

 

You will also be required to travel nationally as well as within the designated territory. A valid driver’s licence is essential, and you will need to supply documents for Garda Vetting as you will be working in areas with vulnerable people. You need to work independently and be able to priorities your individual workload.

 

Full training will be provided for all equipment as well as for demonstration. Enthusiasm, positivity and communication skills are essential to help build strong relationships with my clients customers.

 

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Understand the principles of marketing, advertising cost-effectiveness, branding and health Economics
  • Able to demonstrate successful key account management to achieve sales growth.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the selling process and have a successful proven track record of sales.
  • Experience of working within a healthcare environment preferable
  • Knowledge and understanding of current HSE & Private Hospital sector dynamics in the Ireland along with community nursing homes and hospices desirable
  • Experience or Knowledge in wound care desirable
  • Ability to foster collaboration within the various functions across our clients organization and enable communication and knowledge sharing
  • Ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment
  • Have a full understanding of P&L management and business planning processes
  • An understanding of business planning processes desirable
  • Must be able to deal with customers confidently in a variety of situations e.g. demonstrations, presentations and ward visits etc.
  • Ability to have or develop negotiation and interpersonal skills to handle a range of customer contracts

Education/Experience:

  • Qualified General Nurse or related Healthcare degree with experience in a clinical sales position within Medical Devices in the HSE environment
  • Business qualifications would be advantageous.
  • A reliable professional who is self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook
  • A natural forward planner who has the ability to self-evaluate and take ownership of their territory
  • Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with customers at all levels including CEO’s, CFO’s, DON’s.
  • A reliable and determined individual who is able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A very well-presented business professional with the ability to thrive on new experience, responsibility and accountability.
