As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you will be joining a highly motivated multi-channel team, working in a fast-paced environment that requires resilience, where you will build and maintain strong customer relationships using excellent communication skills on the telephone as well as other virtual channels including Zoom & Webex.

We are seeking a commercially aware sales individual, who is target focused with the drive and hunger to close sales within a B2B environment and we are open to those who have experience from any type of targeted sales background.

The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously using their own initiative along with the capability to problem solve.

This exciting position will allow you to take ownership of your role and manage your accounts and diary on a day-to-day basis alongside selling an innovative and industry leading portfolio of contact lens products plus solutions.

Alcon launched their successful Precision1 contact lens last year and additional launches are planned for this year too!

Executing business plans and driving achievement of sales targets for assigned customers over the phone and virtually by utilising remote sales applications

  • Developing and applying understanding of customer organisations and networks and of diverse influences that affect customer decisions (e.g. peer relationships)
  • Executing call plans for customers; calls on the right person to deliver the right message with the right frequency
  • Adapting and optimizing approach and communications style during sales calls, responding appropriately to customer needs
  • Making effective use of available technologies and channels to support sales calls
  • Deploying and using approved Marketing and Sales promotional materials and programs
  • Using expert knowledge of Alcon products to support sound clinical discussions
  • Using detailed knowledge of competitor products’ features and benefits during sales calls to improve sales of Alcon products
  • Working effectively with other Alcon stakeholders and with resources in Sales and across other functions (e.g., KAM, Marketing, etc.) to achieve sales targets
  • Working within Integrity and Compliance policies and all company policies and ensures those around them do the same
  • Proven target driven sales experience in a B2B environment
  • Multi-channel selling experience - desired
  • Strong communication Skills (oral, written and listening ability)
  • Ability to build rapport and demonstrate sensitivity and awareness to other people and cultures
  • Strong organisational & prioritisation skills
