We are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant. The position is part-time permanent role which would be ideally suited to an individual with accounting and/or book keeping experience. The successful candidate will report to the manager.
Reconciliation of invoices against payments book.
Communicating with external stakeholders.
Filing and general administration duties.
Assisting training supervisor, if necessary.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience within an accounts support role and a degree in Accounting (minimum level 7).
Familiarization with Sage payroll is not essential but would be an advantage
Book keeping qualification is not essential but would be an advantage.
Literacy, numeracy and PC skills. Must be proficient in MS Excel and Xero.
Possess the ability to work on one’s own initiative and independent of supervision when required as well as part of a team
Ability to follow processes and procedures.
Strong document control skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluent English
