Actuarial Trainee

A Navan based insurance provider is seeking a Part Qualified actuary to join their team there. The ideal candidate is a Trainee with 1+ years’ experience. Your area of experience preferably lies in Pricing, however if you have a strong interest in moving into pricing, the organisation is happy to consider this too. The role is based in Navan and offers a 2 day in office hybrid structure, with more in office requirements during the training phase. This is a reputable and well-known organisation who will support your studies.

About the Trainee Pricing role

The role reports to the Pricing Manager and calls for a communicative and innovative trainee actuary.

Duties for this role include (but are not limited to):

• Contribute to all aspects of quotation production.
• Assess and improve pricing processes.
• Stakeholder communication.
• Profitability analysis.
• Cross functional communication.

Actuarial skills required

The role would suit a Part Qualified actuary with experience in Life. Candidates background will ideally be Life and they have experience of the following:

• Strong IT capabilities
• Steady progression through IFoA exams
• Pricing experience a clear advantage
• 1 or more years actuarial work experience
