Agile Delivery Lead /it Delivery Manager

 

Description:

IT Delivery Manager required to lead delivery of project in the Cards & Debit Authorisations services.

The team’s technology stack is varied across the following &includes

• Microservices, Java, Kafka, DB2 and Cassandra.

• Authorisations: Base24

• Self Service Devices: Bespoke eco-system built on Windows Devices with central servers

• Settlement & Reconciliation: Mainframe batch

• Card Management System: Mainframe based

Using Agile methodologies and tools you will work with internal IT and business specialists as well as strategic (product & technology) partners through all phases of the delivery lifecycle.

You will also be responsible for ensuring assigned projects adhere to Ways-Of-Working and Delivery Framework.

Specifically, you will be working on the key Base24-ACi EPS transformation program. This is the application that authorises all Debit Card activity and drives Self Service Devices.

• Develop and manage delivery plans, engaging commitment from strategic partners (Development, Infrastructure, Product vendors, Service Integrators)

• Influence & engage key business & IT stakeholders in the definition of system requirements.

• Work closely with Architects, Technical Leads, Developers, QA and other technology professionals across a variety of differing platforms/ technical domains to agree and deliver solutions

• Drive the team of Tech & Architectural SMEs to create both high level and low-level designs

• Adhere to standard processes/procedures and policies including change management, audit, security, Delivery Framework and Technology WoW.

• Ensure all non-functional considerations of the solutions (Performance, Operational, Security etc.) are fully considered and proven

• Drive continuous improvements to the delivery process via automation and adoption of best practices

• Manage the Risks, Resourcing, Quality and Budget requirements for assigned streams of change

• Minimum of 5 years project delivery experience, with a proven track record of delivering IT-enabled change.

• Strong technology background with experience in development and implementation of applications onto infrastructure platforms

• Experience with JIRA (Kanban, Scrum) and Agile certified a plus

• Knowledge and change experience of Cards-services a distinct advantage

• Broad understanding of application, information and infrastructure technologies and practices

• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues and strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences at senior levels within the bank.
