Volkswagen passenger cars has been a market leader in the Irish automotive market for a number of years and currently enjoys the position of being the 1 electric car brand in Ireland in 2021. The brand works with a dynamic and forward thinking Dealer Network and will continue to strive to be innovative with exciting new products whilst also keeping its DNA as an iconic brand.

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, the successful candidate for this role will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of dealer performance by working directly with the Dealer Network to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets and goals.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Working with the Sales Team to plan and deliver annual dealer volumes
• Working with the Sales Team to develop tactical offers
• Maximising potential by working on KPIs such as volume, aged stock, supply, Finance penetration and loyalty within a specific territory
• Conducting regular dealer visits, performance appraisals and implementing improvement measures
• Dealer Network account management and main point of contact

Skills / Experience Required:

• A proven track record in a Motor industry sales environment
• Proven ability to influence key stakeholders
• Analytical and commercial mind-set
• Strong intuition, team player and problem solver
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• High level of written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative
