Associate Electrical Engineer

Description:

An established engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Dublin team. You will lead electrical design delivery across a range of projects (commercial, residential, healthcare, cultural), managing small–medium projects and contributing to larger multidisciplinary schemes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design from concept through to completion
• Collaborate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders
• Ensure high-quality, compliant engineering solutions
• Support client relationships and project cost management
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and review technical submissions
• Prepare reports and monitor installation quality and progress
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
• 5+ years’ experience in consultancy-based electrical design
• Experience leading projects and supporting junior staff
• Chartered status (or working towards it)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
