Cutting-edge chocolate manufacturing facility in County Dublin, Ireland, we're seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to drive efficiency, quality, and safety in our production processes.
Your Mission:
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Detect and address equipment malfunctions swiftly, ensuring minimal downtime.
- System Optimization: Analyze data to enhance equipment efficiency and productivity, collaborating with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement.
- Process Automation: Implement innovative automation solutions to streamline production and elevate operational efficiency.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records and generate insightful reports to support decision-making and compliance.
- Training and Support: Empower our production staff through hands-on training and technical support, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in automation engineering, preferably within food or beverage manufacturing.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen Bradley / Rockwell), HMI development, and industrial communication protocols.
- Strong grasp of process control systems, robotics, and machine vision technologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively across departments.
