Biodiversity Officer

Description:

The Biodiversity Officer will form part of Offaly County Council’s Heritage Team which is led by the Senior Executive Conservation Architect. There is already a County Heritage Forum and the Biodiversity Officer will be part of this forum and lead the working group for Biodiversity, delivering and expanding the actions in the Offaly Heritage Plan. The Heritage Officer is already an active member of the Climate Action Team and the Biodiversity Officer will be a core member of this team. The role will be proactive and will work across various departments which is easily facilitated in a Local Authority of Offaly’s size.
