We are looking for a/an Buyer to join our FE_WIBU team in Ireland .We're seeking a skilled Procurement Professional to join our Wexford team and drive our growth. You'll play a crucial role in supporting site manufacturing operations and achieving strategic objectives by leveraging your strong purchasing expertise, commercial acumen, and deep SAP knowledge.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring all purchasing data entered to company systems is accurate and current to enable accurate reporting and KPI management
- Ordering and expediting as required
- Master Data creation and maintenance
- Implementing purchase and inventory strategies for components and execute exception messages generated by ERP (SAP)
- Ensures all purchases are executed in line with the Global & local procurement policies
- Report out monthly on dashboard of own portfolio
- Lead Quarterly business reviews with own key suppliers
- Other tasks as may be assigned by the company
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Highly motivated and ambitious
- 5+ years of experience in a similar procurement role
- Advanced SAP expertise
- Relevant Procurement qualifications and/or experience in a similar role preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- IT literate
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent decision-making skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with people at all levels of an organisation.
