Buyer

Description:

We are working with a leading Pharmaceutical supply company based in Blanchardstown to recruit a Buyer to join their team. This is a permanent role offering strong progression potential within a well-established business. This is an on-site role and the candidate must be available to work on site 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of materials, plant and equipment for ongoing projects
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure best value and timely delivery
• Monitor stock levels and ensure site teams have what they need
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and keep accurate records
• Liaise with project managers, site teams and internal departments
• Maintain logistics documentation to incoming and outgoing goods

Requirements:

• 2–3 years’ experience in a purchasing or buying role is essential
• Strong interest in Pharmaceutical, engineering or similar technical fields
• Full, clean Irish driving licence
• Excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

• Experience was SAP is highly desirable
• Familiarity with MS Excel and other analytical tools
