Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Planning and prioritising of workload and resources to meet departmental targets.
- Preparation and organisation of work for employees including the arrangement of shift rotas to meet business requirements ensuring maximum output.
- Supervision, management and development of all employees within the department in performance, quality of work and delivery of service.
- Management of any employee relations issues that may arise.
- Liaising with management in production to minimise any disruption to the production cycle ensuring the continuous availability of products.
- Identify, participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Processing of manual and electronic warehousing documentation, using Liebherr recording systems such as BaaN.
- Promote the highest standards of health and safety, hygiene and security by implementing Liebherr guidelines.
- Ensure good housekeeping is maintained by all and risks are minimised by removing any defective equipment from operation.
- Reporting of status and any updates of daily business to the Warehouse Manager
- Any other duties as directed by management.
Qualifications, Requirements And Experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar demanding role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office, including Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Forklift experience and licence is essential.
- Strong communication skills.
