Oliver James is proud to be working with a leading global financial services institution to recruit a Client Management Associate into their Global Operations & Business Services function.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a client-focused, commercially aware professional to support institutional onboarding and deepen strategic client relationships in a fast-paced Capital Markets environment. Project management experience is highly preferred, as the role involves working across global desks and stakeholder groups to drive key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end onboarding process for global institutional clients, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks (AML/KYC, FATCA, CRS, MiFID)
- Collaborate with Sales & Trading to grow and manage strategic buy-side client relationships
- Liaise daily with internal stakeholders (Front Office, Legal, Compliance, Credit, Operations) to expedite onboarding and client enablement
- Track and prioritise high-value clients and maintain accurate data on onboarding progress
- Support global initiatives that enhance onboarding experience, mitigate risk, and improve time-to-market
- Assist in driving large client relationship initiatives across the Dealer
- Proactively identify bottlenecks or issues, escalate appropriately, and support resolution in a timely manner
- Champion continuous improvement through cross-team collaboration and process enhancement
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years' experience in Capital Markets or with buy-side institutions
- Strong understanding of financial markets, trading products, and client onboarding workflows
- Proven track record managing or supporting institutional client relationships
- Familiarity with global regulatory requirements including AML/KYC, FATCA, CRS, and MiFID
- Project management skills and experience are a strong advantage
