Description:
The Senior & Individual Services Consultant supports clients in effectively managing their medical and life insurance plans.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Establishes and maintains strong business relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
- Performs financial analysis.
- Writes Medical Plans (Quote, Present, Place Coverage): Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, Part-D, Individual & Family Medical Plans (off exchange), Dental, Vision, International Travel, Expatriate Medical, Life Insurance.
- Critically analyzes and compares insurance plans to determine suitability.
- Responsible for strategic planning of all clients and overall retention of accounts.
- Educates employees regarding Medicare.
- Generates professional client and carrier correspondence.
- Maintains accurate and organized account files by appropriately documenting conversations with clients and carrier representatives; updates all HUB computer systems and automated agency management systems; ensures the accuracy of data.
- Provides training as a subject-matter-expert to other Client Services team members on various topics.
- Provides support to other employees within the department.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School / GED
- 2+ years of related compliant Medicare insurance sales and service experience
- Life & Health License
- AHIP Certified
- Contracted with various Medicare Carriers
