The Deal Advisory department has extensive experience in all aspects of deal advisory from mergers and acquisitions, transaction advisory services, valuations, raising capital and debt and business planning.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Managing detailed financial reviews and due diligence investigations (reviewing databooks, report writing, identification of key financial and commercial items);
  • Managing sale and purchase mandates, MBO and MBI assignments (overseeing IM and financial databook preparation, preparing target lists);
  • Managing the preparation of valuation reports (reviewing target research and valuation models and overseeing the writing of the report);
  • Managing debt and equity raisings (reviewing databooks and writing of information documents);
  • Preparation of robust and flexible financial models (including 3 statement forecast models and sensitivity analysis);
  • Managing the preparation of business plans;
  • Liaising with clients, target, financial institutions, solicitors etc;
  • Preparation of presentations and marketing initiatives.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with ACA, CFA or equivalent qualification;
  • A minimum of 3 year’s post qualification experience with prior experience in deal advisory or corporate banking;
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles (IFRS and Irish GAAP);
  • Advanced skills in MS Office – Excel and Power Point; experience in use of databases such as S&P Cap IQ Pro, Mergermarket, Bloomberg etc. is advantageous;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise reports;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging and dynamic work environment;
  • Strong team player with good organisation and planning skills;
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to work towards deadlines; and
  • Actively pursuing self-learning, on the job training and knowledge from other team members
  • Fluent English, other European languages are advantageous;
