As a Credit Controller, you will play a vital role in managing credit control responsibilities to ensure the financial health of the company. Key Responsibilities
 

  • Credit Control:
    • Chasing debts once due.
    • Ensuring representatives collect their due accounts and liaising with them to collect cheques while on the road.
    • Marking daily sheets for cash collection and providing them to representatives.
    • Keeping accounts within the given credit terms.
    • Allocating cheques and cash to correct accounts and against relevant invoices.
    • Allocating bank transfers and credit card payments on a daily basis.
    • Balancing and posting daily cash to correct accounts.
    • Issuing credit notes for returns and overcharges daily.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Printing monthly statements and ensuring timely dispatch to customers.
    • Completing Sales month-end tasks on a timely basis.
    • Printing and checking weekly clockings.
  • Customer Interaction:
    • Answering incoming calls and addressing customer queries.
  • Bonus Calculation:
    • Calculating monthly representative bonuses.

Requirements
 

  • Proven experience in credit control or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
