A Customer Service and Supply Chain Specialist is required on a PERMANENT basis by CareerWise Recruitment for our client; a Cork-based leading global secondary packaging company specialising in the Pharmaceutical and Beauty Industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, administering and coordinating all aspects of major and complex planning projects. Ensure coordination of all phases of planning, implementation and management of projects through coordination with all departments in the development review process.

Role of this position

• Processing of key customer sales orders
• Key point of contact with the customers assigned.
• Entering information onto the company official CR system
• Following up on ETAs from internal and external production teams and advising customers
• Dealing with the customer queries to the required standard
• Supporting the customer Service Manager with other customer requirements when necessary
• Involvement in standards improvements and progression with the customer services / commercial manager
• Promoting products and services that will benefit our customers
• Build and maintain excellent product knowledge
• Ensure effective communication with other employees
• Liaising with Production, Planning, Finance, Dispatch and Technical Support on all necessary matters
• Project Management - look at lean opportunities within the department
• Supporting standardization efforts
• Covering other colleagues and manager during absences, ensuring no gaps in execution
• Acting #2 in the Supply Chain / Customer Services Department
• Working knowledge of planning role
• Confidence in reporting on OTIF, Lead time, KPI reporting etc.
