Data Engineer

Description:

We have an INCREDIBLE Contract opportunity for an enthusiastic Data engineer to assist with the implementation of Contact Centre as a Service solution. This individual will partner closely with the Technical Architect, Engineering, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance and other cross-functional program team members.

Projects:

• Building data models for Trust fraud detection use cases
• Migrating data pipelines to paved path (i.e. Sputnik v2 and WALL checks on anomaly detections)
• Legacy table deprecations
• Building Flink streaming pipeline for fraud alerts
• Maintaining daily batch jobs to fix ongoing data pipeline issues

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role
• Must have proficiencies with Spark Scala, Airflow, Python, SQL, Hive
• Working knowledge of Java is a plus
• Proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes
• Experience working with Big Data
• Flink/kafka/realtime pipeline development is a plus
• ElasticSearch is a plus
