At Barden, we are delighted to be partnering with our client to identify a M&A Manager for a large Energy/Renewables business. In this role you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring further assets to strengthen the existing core business. The company is also focused on technology, continuously striving towards innovation solutions. This role might suit someone from a Big 4 / Top 10 Corporate Finance, Corporate Development or PE background. Reporting to a high regarded M&A Director, this is an exiting role to bring to market.

• Lead business development activities identifying merger and acquisition opportunities in various renewable sectors.
• Full responsibility for business cases for assigned acquisitions.
• Assist & Lead the negotiation of key transaction documentation with Legal, Commercial and Technical departments.
• Manage full life cycle of due diligence process for any acquisition opportunities identified.
• Responsible for risk assessment and developing solutions.
• Business partnering with Investment Committee, Senior Leadership Team, Operations, External Partners.
• Mentor and develop a team of junior professionals.
• Primary degree in Science, Engineering, Business or Finance.
• Strong acumen with ability to appraise business models, returns and profitability.
• Renewable energy experience desirable.
• Experience in managing end to end transactions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset.
