Description:
Our banking client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to work in their Dublin office on Contract or Permanent basis. The candidates will work remotely until Covid restrictions are in play.
This role is for You if you have:
- DevOps experience for around 5 years or more,
- Mandatory Skills: DevOps experience in AWS, Terraform or CloudFormation, CI/CD Pipeline, Ansible and Jenkins,
- Experience with relating tooling such as, Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven, AppDynamics, Docker, Kubernetes,
- AWS certification (preferred).
This is what you are expected to do:
- Performance monitoring and tuning; environment monitoring
- Managing API assets: infrastructure, platform, accounts, logs, ESB components
- Check server health; check automated log rotations and archiving status; check server logs; check server performance (uptime, performance logs, JVM heap logs, core server dumps, O/S event logs)
- Check status on ports, scheduler, monitoring transactions
- Creates and maintains system and procedural documentation.
- Planning, design, installation, development and ongoing maintenance of including patching and/or application of hot-fixes required to maintain stability of the platform; system restarts and re-boots; security certificate management; support upgrades across environments (includes planning, back-up, implementation, testing).
- Building and deploying Java and Mule runtimes, domains, APIs, policies etc.
- Code promotion, release management, configuration management assistance.
- Environment monitoring and support
- Troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem solving.
