Digital Frontend Developer

Description:

As our Digital Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing new features and enhancements for the company's main retail CMS and supporting the bi-monthly CMS releases
• Developing new features and enhancements for our Mobile Application and supporting releases
• Working closely with design, content and testing teams to help deliver maximum quality
• Getting involved with and bringing new technologies into the team
• Supporting the Development Lead in daily activities
• To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
• A strong understanding of software development, with the ability to breakdown problems, assess and refine solutions of a technical or coding nature
• Good working knowledge in at least one OOP language, mobile development, version control systems, ideally SVN and GIT and strong understanding in web development languages, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Ruby with experience with JS Unit, E2E test
• Strong record in building responsive web applications and experience / understanding of working in an Agile environment
• Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Next.js
• A solid understanding of modern browsers including browser testing and debugging
• The ability to write clear and comprehensive documentation
