Digital Data Platform (DDP) is the cornerstone of the company’s cloud-first digital strategy and is already being deployed at locations across North America. As Director, Enterprise Architecture, you will be accountable for the stewardship, evolution, and enterprise adoption of DDP, while shaping the broader enterprise architecture agenda.
As a full member of the Dublin Leadership Team, this role extends beyond architecture. You will contribute to site initiatives, talent development, and the positioning of the Dublin office as a global and enterprise hub. You will lead through influence in a federated global model, aligning execution with global standards and direction.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture Leadership
- Act as a senior architect for the Digital Data Platform (DDP), ensuring it evolves as a scalable, secure, and reusable enterprise capability.
- As part of EA Leadership translate business and digital strategy into clear architectural priorities, roadmaps, and guardrails.
- Ensure architectural decisions balance speed, resilience, cost, and long-term sustainability.
DDP Platform Stewardship
- Provide stewardship of DDP, including its architecture, usage patterns, and extension model as the DDP scales across global regions.
- Ensure consistent adoption of DDP across analytics, integration, and digital product teams.
- Drive architectural simplification, standardization, and reuse across data pipelines, analytics, and integrations.
- Partner with platform, security, and infrastructure leaders to ensure DDP remains enterprise-grade.
Capability Lifecycle Management
- As part of the EA function define, maintain, and evolve enterprise architecture capability maps aligned to business strategy and value streams.
- Establish and govern capability-based planning to inform investment prioritization, roadmaps, and sequencing.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to identify capability gaps, overlaps, and modernization opportunities.
- Use capability insights to inform portfolio governance, sequencing, and funding discussions in partnership with business and technology leadership.
- Ensure capabilities are supported by coherent platform, data, and integration architectures.
Enterprise Applications
- Provide architectural leadership for core enterprise applications, including platforms and associated business systems.
- Partner with business, finance, supply chain, and operations leaders to modernize legacy application landscapes.
- Ensure enterprise systems are aligned to target architecture, capability maps, and digital transformation priorities.
Dublin Site Leadership
- Serve as a senior leader within the Dublin Office, shaping its operating model, standards, and global contribution.
- As a full member of the Dublin Leadership Team, support site initiatives, culture, and talent development.
- Represent Dublin architecture capability in global forums and with senior US stakeholders.
Governance & Global Alignment
- Participate in enterprise architecture governance with EA leadership in a federated global model.
- Act as a key escalation point for architectural decisions and trade-offs.
Stakeholder & Matrix Influence
- Build trusted partnerships with global technology, data, and business leaders.
- Influence outcomes without direct line authority.
- Clearly articulate architectural intent and trade-offs to executive and non-technical audiences.
Required Experience & Leadership Profile
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with significant hands-on experience leading application architecture and large-scale ERP implementations and global rollouts in complex organizations.
- Prior experience operating at Director or equivalent senior leadership level.
- Proven track record leading architecture for enterprise-scale business applications and ERP platforms in production, including multi-country implementations and phased global rollouts.
- Strong background in cloud-first enterprise application architecture, ERP platforms, data ecosystems, and complex integration landscapes across core business systems.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders in matrixed, global operating models.
- Executive presence with the ability to operate credibly with both business and technology leaders.
