Director Of Product Management

Description:

The Director of Product Management will be an expert across the full product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery, and will have a proven background in customer discovery, the leadership of a product team, and management of relationships with key product stakeholders.

The successful candidate may lead multiple product teams, a large product group, or a solution and will be responsible for defining product strategies and customer outcomes ensuring that the products delivered meet the needs of customers. 

The Role:

• Authors and maintains product vision and strategy
• Defines priority of outcomes, clarifies customer needs for product groups, works with engineering to set deadlines for milestones, authors Objectives and Key Results acts as a leader on their product teams.
• Establishes success criteria for the product
• Monitors progress towards product completion for components and the final product.
• Contributes to the creation of the overall product strategy and roadmap.
• ID’s problems within product areas, process or teams that arise and drives resolutions.
• Meets with strategic customers to validate features and walk-through product iterations in the course of development to ensure product development is on track to meet customer needs.
• Works to vet new solution opportunities, assists in the identification of new markets and use cases.
• Creates story / Road maps to provide direction to product teams/stakeholders.
• Ensures final product meets customer needs.
• Manages relationships with their product teams / internal stakeholders, strategic partners that use or might use their product.
