Electrical Design Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team based in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a wide range of innovative projects across various sectors, including workplace, healthcare, education, historic buildings, leisure, and residential.

The successful candidate will have minimum 1 year experience working in an Irish design consultancy.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems for a variety of complex projects.
• Use design tools including Dialux and Amtech / Electrical OM.
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary studio environment.
• Contribute to sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions.
• Support BIM processes and develop models in a Revit environment.
• Liaise with clients and project stakeholders to present design proposals and updates.
• Assist in delivering projects from concept through to completion across a range of sectors.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (master’s preferred).
• Membership of CIBSE, Engineers Ireland, or equivalent (or working towards full membership).
• Actively pursuing Chartered status.
• Proven experience designing electrical systems in the built environment.
• Proficient in software such as Revit, Dialux, and Amtech / Electrical OM.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in sustainable design and renewable energy technologies.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results driven.
