Description:
Our client, a global facility services provider, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the onsite facilities electrical team. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the role involves managing direct labour and subcontractors, ordering materials, handling Work Orders, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and environmental standards.
- Facilities and Maintenance: Manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive work on Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) services; organise subcontractors for PPM and project work.
- Project Management: Plan, execute, and deliver electrical activities while coordinating closely with utilities teams to meet client specifications.
- Team Leadership: Supervise electrical maintenance operatives, issue work permits, and review risk assessments and method statements.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion ongoing improvement programs, lead design processes, and manage project troubleshooting and technical submittals.
- Sustainability and Value Engineering: Implement sustainable and value-engineering solutions within project designs.
- Client Relations: Build strong relationships with clients, promptly address queries or complaints, and enhance service quality.
- Training and Compliance: Train new and existing staff, maintain updated training records, and support safe work practices.
