Electrical Estimator

Mellett is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical projects across a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for a variety of projects

Review drawings, specifications and tender documents

Source and obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors

Identify risks and opportunities at tender stage

Work closely with project managers to ensure a smooth handover of projects

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors

Requirements:

Previous experience in an Electrical Estimator role or similar

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction methods

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills

Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office

Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Desirable:

Relevant electrical qualification or trade background

Experience across commercial, industrial or residential projects
