Employment Solicitor

 

Description:

Join a growing Employment team within a well established and highly regarded Dublin firm. The role would suit a solicitor with 1–2 years’ PQE who is looking to build depth and confidence in employment law while working directly with clients and senior colleagues.

 

You will advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, acting for both commercial and private clients. The work is hands on, varied, and client facing, offering strong exposure across advisory, litigation, and strategic employment issues.

 

You will be involved in:

  • Advising clients on employment law matters including contracts, policies and procedures, redundancies, unfair dismissals, and general HR issues.
  • Managing employment claims before the Workplace Relations Commission and the courts, from instruction through to conclusion.
  • Drafting complaints, pleadings and submissions, and liaising with counsel where appropriate.
  • Interpreting and advising on employment legislation and relevant case law.
  • Managing client relationships and delivering clear, practical advice.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Employment team while also managing your own matters independently.
  • Participating in business development and networking activities as the practice continues to grow.

 

The Person

You will be a strong fit if you bring:

  • 1/2 years’ PQE with demonstrable experience in employment law.
  • Strong drafting and case management skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A professional, empathetic, and client-focused approach.
  • Confidence working independently while contributing to a team environment.
