Engineering Manager

CréVinn provides an excellent opportunity to work in a wide range of technologies in the computing, networking, automotive and industrial fields. Projects involve multi-Gigabit networking fields including Ethernet, PCIe, USB3 and DisplayPort, as well as SoC applications involving RISCV CPU subsystems, TCP Offload engines, network-on-chip and many others. We work closely with our customers to apply these technologies to applications such as artificial intelligence processing using neural networks, functional safety applications for the automotive industry and transfer of high-speed video and audio transfer over networks. Projects vary from ASIC/FPGA design to UVM-based verification in equal measure, using a top-down structured approach to both challenges.

To help drive these projects forward we’re seeking an Engineering Manager located in our Dublin Design Centre. Candidates will have strong academic qualifications, as well as proven capabilities in the following areas:

• Engineering Management skills, including people management, project management with ability to break down tasks to accurately predict project schedules and resource requirements

• Experience in liaising with both customers and CAE vendors

• Architectural abilities in ASIC/FPGA design and verification development from concept through to implementation

• Hands-on skills in digital (RTL) design, UVM-based verification, ASIC/FPGA-based synthesis and timing closure. Experience in analog design and simulation would also be desirable.

• Knowledge in a number of the fields listed in the introduction above, both technical and commercial.

You will be based in CréVinn’s Dublin design centre. Remuneration will be commensurate with the seniority of the role.
