Description:
Our client is hiring an Equipment Engineer to focus on syringe inspection systems. This person will be supporting their introduction, qualification, and reliable operation within the manufacturing environment. This is a contract role based in Dublin with a requirement to be on site 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for an operational manufacturing facility, with primary ownership of syringe inspection equipment.
- Contribute to equipment readiness activities, including commissioning, qualification, and start-up, ensuring alignment with internal standards and regulatory expectations.
- Support lifecycle management of equipment through setup, testing, spare parts coordination, troubleshooting, and ongoing operational support.
- Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Automation, EHSS, and other stakeholders to enable effective project execution and handover.
Key Requirements
- Degree-qualified engineer with several years’ experience delivering engineering projects or supporting complex manufacturing systems.
- Working knowledge of GMP, quality systems, and regulatory requirements within a pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
- Proven ability to manage equipment vendors and support deployment of new or evolving technologies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced project setting.
