Events Operations Manager

The ideal candidate:
* Minimum 1 years' experience in banqueting, events, or hospitality management, ideally within a luxury or high-volume environment
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
* Hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and guide a team
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in line with event schedules
* Genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding service

 

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Oversee the planning, setup, and execution of all the hotels banqueting events, including weddings and private functions
* Lead, support, and develop the banqueting service team to deliver flawless guest experiences
* Liaise with the Events Team, Executive Chef, Head Chef, and other departments to ensure smooth service coordination
* Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and performance to meet operational needs
* Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and health & safety compliance
* Monitor stock, equipment, and room readiness for efficient event turnover
* Respond to guest feedback professionally, implementing improvements as needed
* Support ongoing training to uphold excellence in service and hospitality
