Executive Actuarial Manager

Cavehill Consulting is delighted to be representing a leading global reinsurance business with it's HQ in Dublin as they seek to appoint a senior level actuarial professional to take responsibility for the origination, pricing and execution of longevity risk transactions on a global basis.

Key Aspects of the role include:

• In this client-facing role you'll play a key part in the end-to-end identification and execution of longevity reinsurance transactions
• Oversee the pricing of new transactions, including data analysis, basis setting and risk assessment
• Present new business opportunities to key internal stakeholders
• Reinsurance treaty negotiation and implementation
• Client relationship management and development
• Manage and develop a team of actuarial professionals

Key attributes of a successful candidate are likely to include:

• You'll be a qualified actuary with ideally 10 years of industry experience
• Demonstrable expertise in at least one of these key areas: experience analysis/basis setting, pricing, IFRS17 reserving, capital modelling, reinsurance treaties
• Strong people management ability and experience
• Skilled internal relationship manager - able to gain buy-in from a variety of senior internal stakeholders and departments
