Having experienced excellent growth in recent years, the company is looking for a Finance Manager in Cork to lead the Finance and Business Partnering function locally.

The role offers a blend of Finance Management and Business Partnering, with a strong focus on the commercial aspects of the business and process improvement. This position provides excellent exposure to business function leaders and is an ideal fit for a finance professional who wants to make a tangible contribution to the business’s growth and profitability.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Responsible for timely and accurate month-end close, with a focus on reporting to assist business performance.
• Contribution to the establishment of a continuous improvement culture.
• Active finance business partnering within the wider business with a focus on profitability.
• Implement best practice finance function systems and controls.
• Develop, mentor and coach the local finance team.
• Ad hoc duties and projects to support the growing needs of the business.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• Qualified accountant with 4+ years post qualified experience.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems and proficient use of MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Intellectual curiosity when it comes to the business and business performance.
• Proven record of interacting with cross functional teams across an organisation.
