Finance Manager

Barden are delighted to have been asked to act exclusively on behalf of the CEO to support the appointment of a Finance Manager for an Irish family run business.

This role would suit a finance professional with circa. 3-5 years PQE currently working in a SME type environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Active involvement in day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Manage statutory compliance including VAT, payroll taxes, corporation tax, and audit preparation.
• Collaborating with the leadership group, including key executives.
• Supervise and develop junior finance staff.

Qualifications:

• Qualified accountant, with 3-5 years PQE.
• Previous experience in an SME environment an advantage.
• Strong commercial finance background.
• Ability to work closely with leadership teams and contribute to strategic decision-making.
