Financial Accountant

Description:

We are looking for a qualified/recently qualified Financial Accountant to join our finance team as our company starts to scale globally. This is a permanent role, reporting directly to the CFO.

The ideal candidate will be able to work well with cross functional teams, provide accounting and process guidance for decision making, as well as responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts for various trading entities to a tight deadline with a performance analysis report to management.

What you'll do

You will be an integral part of the finance team, working across multiple areas, including:

• Full ownership of month end accounts preparation, including journal preparation and posting
• Preparation of budgets and ongoing forecasting for the group
• Prepare submission of Sales Tax/VAT/PAYE returns (or similar)
• Assisting with statutory audits and tax returns for various returns
• Preparation of monthly management reports analysing actual results versus budgets and variance analysis and working with departments to understand variances
• Implementation of strong process and procedures as the company scales
• Participate in ad hoc duties and projects as required
• Payroll processing

Requirements of the role:

• Applicants must be fully qualified, ACA, CPA, ACCA
• A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly Excel to be able to create models with very strong analytical skills
