Frontend Developer

Description:

We are seeking a passionate Front-end Web Developer to drive improved user experience across all devices and to improve the performance and efficiency of our Customer's journey through our purchase funnel. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the web application.

You will work with the UI/UX designer and the back-end developers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the web application looks as well as how it works.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new user-facing features.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use that are consistent across all browsers and platforms.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX design.
• Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
• Promote usability best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

 Extensive knowledge of HTML and CSS.

• Familiar with JavaScript and PHP
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in web development
• A degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience in web development.
• Experience developing and optimising mobile or responsive websites
