A leading construction company is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their team on major construction projects in Galway. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
• Manage subcontractor procurement, including pricing, negotiation, and appointment
• Prepare and submit interim valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Monitor project costs and track financial performance against budget
• Support the commercial management of projects to ensure cost efficiency
• Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
• Maintain accurate financial records, reports, and documentation
• Identify and report on potential risks and opportunities

Requirements:

• 2–5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably within construction projects
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline
• Good understanding of construction contracts and cost control processes
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of Irish construction regulations and practices
• Membership or working towards membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland) is desirable
