Gpu Modelling Engineer

 

Description:


We are looking for an experienced GPU Modelling Engineer to help develop world-class GPU products that deliver high-performance graphics and compute capabilities with low power consumption.

As a member of our Graphics Department, you will contribute to the development of our GPU simulator of our next generation Graphics Processing Unit. In this position, you will be responsible for development of the GPU architecture design by using advanced modelling methodologies. You are expected to understand the design and implementation specs, define the development scope, develop the algorithm for some functional blocks, and verify the correctness of the design.

You Will
 

  • Be working with architects, designers, driver, and compiler teams to accomplish your tasks.
  • Develop bitwise accurate functional models (C-Model) (by using C/C++ etc.) to simulate our new architectures and solutions
  • Develop solid test suites and perform functional verification & validation with the C-Model and RTL simulation
  • Perform conformance tests, stress & random tests and stabilize GPUs & Compute systems

     

Critical “Must Have” Skills/experience For Role
 

  • Good understanding of Computer Architecture and/or Graphics Pipelines.
  • Intermediate or higher C++ coding, debugging and problem-solving skills.

     

Preferred Skills For Role
 

  • Programming experience in modelling using C++
  • Knowledge in graphics/ray-tracing/compute pipeline (e.g., DirectX, OpenGL, OpenCL, Vulkan, etc.)
  • Ability to write clean, professional & maintainable code in C++
  • In addition to strong C/C++, scripting languages like Perl/Python programming language
  • 3D Graphics, GPU compute, driver development or compiler experience is a plus
  • Agile development methodology experience is preferable
  • Good communication skills and ability & desire to work in a geographically diverse team

     

Preferred Experience
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

     

OR
 

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
