Description:
Graphic Designer required to join a busy print production team. Responsible for delivering client briefs, from conception to finished product. The position is within a customer-focused team environment, with a wide variety of rewarding design requirements.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Liaise directly with Line Manager, the Graphic Design Department and Print Department to ` achieve product development, and delivery of service in a professional and respectful manner.
- Use of digital presses and wide format printers
- Client consultations
- Attend production meetings as scheduled.
- Design of leaflets, letterheads, brochures, booklets, packaging, signage and much more.
QUALIFICATIONS & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design
Experience & Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
- Strong graphic design skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential - must be fluent in English, written
and spoken.
- Strong layout, analytical, and creative skills
- Flexibility to meet business and customer changing needs
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is a must
- Deadline-oriented and time management skills working in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of safety standards.
- Strong work ethic.
- Strong teamwork and an ability to work under own initiative
- Flexible in working hours when timelines require, and ability to work to deadlines
- Knowledge of all areas of digital print is preferable.
