Green Hydrogen & Industrial Infrastructure Expert

Description:

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: Public Sector Loan Facility Advisory for the Maritsa East Complex and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

Location: Bulgaria.

Duration: The intended start date is July 2025 (the “Start Date”) and the period of implementation of the Assignment will be 20 months from this date (the “Period of Implementation”).

Key Expert: Green Hydrogen & Industrial Infrastructure Expert (Cat. II)

☝️ Qualifications and skills:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Energy Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (minimum requirement).
• Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English (minimum requirement).
• Proficiency in hydrogen simulation tools (e.g., H2A, HyOpt, or similar) will be considered an asset.

☝️ General professional experience:

• At least 10 years of professional experience in hydrogen production technologies, industrial infrastructure, and clean energy transition projects (minimum requirement).

☝️ Specific professional experience:

• Experience in planning and developing hydrogen supply chains, as demonstrated by at least 2 projects (minimum requirement).
• Experience in the technical and economic feasibility of green hydrogen projects, including electrolysis and hydrogen storage, as demonstrated in at least two projects in the expert’s CV (minimum requirement).
• Knowledge of hydrogen policy frameworks, funding mechanisms, and EU regulations will be considered an asset.
• Experience in industrial park infrastructure development to support hydrogen production will be considered an asset.
• Experience working on just transition projects and coal-dependent regions in the EU will be considered an asset.
