We all love some relaxation and a bit of pampering. The people who call Saint Joseph's their home are no different. Hand massage is very therapeutic and can create a pleasant and relaxing experience for people living with dementia. Volunteers who have experience in this area will provide gentle hand massage to all those who are of greatest need, especially in our later stage lodges. People at this stage of dementia are responsive to positive stimulation such as a nurturing voice or touch. You will make moments matter for them.
