Realtime recruitment are seeking a skilled Head of Engineering on behalf of a key player in the Healthcare industry for a permanent position based in South Dublin
This is a key hire and you will focus on leading the development and evolution of the organisation's SaaS platform.
Requirements
- Strong background in PHP (with Laravel), React experience considered highly advantageous.
- Experience in leading engineering teams to design, build, and enhance B2B SaaS products/platforms for scale.
- A background in architecting and bringing SaaS products to life, with a focus on market introduction. Experience in significantly enhancing B2B SaaS products/platforms or a background in B2C platform/product development is also welcomed.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evolve the platform architecture.
- Shape the technical vision, ensuring alignment with the company's business goals and driving the team to deliver the platform architecture and technical vision.
- Collaborate with product management, DevOps, Clinical, Operations, and Sales teams to facilitate the highly collaborative design and delivery of our product roadmap.
- Provide hands-on technical expertise and actively participate in software development activities, including coding, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes to deliver robust and maintainable code.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the development team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for growth and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and industry standards, proactively assessing their potential impact on the company's development processes.
