We're a growing social enterprise and non-profit looking for a forward thinking Head of Learning to lead the design, delivery, and growth of our learning programmes and source the best quality tech equipment to support skills development. Reporting to the CEO this is a senior role at the heart of our mission, shaping the strategy, driving excellence, and ensuring impact at scale.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Set the vision: Lead the strategy for Kinia’s learning programmes, aligning pedagogy, design, and delivery with our mission.
  • Grow our impact: Build and strengthen partnerships that expand Kinia’s reach. Develop pathways that add value and weight to our professional development programmes.
  • Lead learning development:

Oversee and get hands on with the design of courses and resources in creative technology, digital literacy skills aligning with national frameworks and curriculum. The learning management

challenges and opportunities around AI use in education will be a specific focus.

Input into the sourcing of the best tech equipment and own the Educational input of product development.

  • Ensure excellence:

Set high standards and make sure that Kinia’s Education Team has the skills, knowledge, and frameworks to deliver our programmes.

Drive projects: Lead major initiatives from scoping through delivery, applying strong project management to achieve measurable results.

Shape the Kinia Academy (VLE): Develop engaging, credentialed learning pathways that deliver on evidence based research and recommendations to meet future skills needs.

  • Be a thought leader: Represent Kinia and our network as a credible voice on education, youth development and future skills influencing the wider sector.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A qualification in Education, Youth Development, Educational Technology, STEM or related field, with 8+ years relevant experience.
  • A deep understanding of relevant education and youth development policy, strategies and best practice frameworks.
  • Strong track record in project and people leadership, delivering results on time and to high standards.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders across education sectors.
  • Experience networking, scaling programmes, and communicating impact with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Credible evidence of leading in STEM and Digital Technologies preferably with a focus on AI, Green Tech and Renewable Energy.
