This is a key leadership role within a wider finance function, ideal for someone with strong operational experience and a strategic mindset. The role offers the opportunity to shape payroll delivery in a complex and evolving business environment.

The Role

• Lead and manage all aspects of payroll operations across the organisation
• Ensure timely, compliant, and accurate payroll delivery in collaboration with internal teams and external partners
• Oversee payroll reporting, reconciliations, and data integrity
• Drive process improvements and contribute to payroll system developments
• Support internal planning activities and play an active role in cross-functional collaboration
• Manage and develop a small internal payroll team

The Ideal Profile

• Extensive experience in a senior payroll role, ideally with exposure to complex payroll environments
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, compliance requirements, and reporting frameworks
• Proven ability to manage teams and stakeholder relationships
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and discretion
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to continuous improvement
