Our client a global analytics and digital solutions ganisation is seeking a Vice President (VP) of Strategic Sourcing to lead strategic sourcing solutions, manage sourcing activities f the US and Europe, and have direct responsibility f management and oversight of global vend contracts.

Responsibilities include:
- Collabate with various business stakeholders, such as legal, third-party risk management, subject matter experts, and external suppliers, to address Technology Infrastructure, Cloud-based solutions, Hardware, Software, and Professional services.
- Fge strong relationships with internal business stakeholders to comprehend the ganization’s strategic business direction, requirements, and priities across assigned suppliers and/ spend categies.
- Create and maintain a though understanding of the ganization’s policies and procedures f supplier selection, contracting, and ongoing management. Ensure all requirements are fulfilled and documented throughout the end-to-end process.
- Develop, implement, and oversee robust market analysis/benchmarking procedures to gain key insights to infm and suppt business, categy, and project strategies.
- Manage crucial supplier relationships with a focus on quality, service, delivery, risk, and costs. Provide leadership suppt f cross-functional teams in sourcing projects, supplier management strategies, and complex contract negotiations.
Furtherme, the VP Global Procurement is directly accountable f managing and supervising procurement operations related to wldwide supplier contracts, encompassing:
- Developing cost-effective procurement strategies and identifying vends to minimize costs
- Collabating with business leaders to understand their procurement needs and potential vend requirements.
- Providing strategic guidance on identifying cost-effective global deals and vends, and initiating business and ganizational partnerships as appropriate
- Offering strategic oversight and expert advice on key procurement decisions, including investments, risks, pricing, operating models, delivery schedules, quality, and investments
- Approving the dering of necessary goods and services, finalizing purchase details, and testing existing contracts
- Codinating global vend payments in accdance with policies and procedures
- Contribute to developing and implementing supply contract and agreement risk management policies.
- Suppting the Global Head of Procurement in repting to global leadership in the US by tracking and repting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Providing input on the development of global procurement policies, strategies, investment protocols, and risk management processes
- Establishing and reviewing procurement KPIs jointly with the Global Head Of Procurement
- Reviewing and signing vend contracts, including negotiating contractual terms
- Approving contracts within company standard contracting framewk and the guidelines prescribed by the Global Head Of Procurement
- Liaising with the Global Head Of Procurement to finalize negotiations and contract terms outside of prescribed guidelines.
- Wking with Global Head Of Procurement to provide strategic input into global procurement strategic decision-making, including developing the overall global procurement commercial plan, investment decisions, pricing decisions, vend selection, risk management, quality assurance, delivery and logistics, and vend relationship management.
- Codinating with global business and procurement teams in India, the US, and other locations globally.
- Managing procurement personnel in Ireland, including providing training and development opptunities.
Qualifications:
- At least 15 years of pri experience in sourcing and contracting across the US, Europe (including the UK and Ireland), and India
- Familiarity with procurement software applications such as eRFx, eAuction, and P2P, as well as experience wking in an ERP environment (preferably acle)
- Experience wking in a large, global, and highly matrixed ganization.
- A proven track recd of leading large and complex sourcing and contracting initiative
- Excellent ganizational, analytical, and time-management abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- High levels of integrity and ethics
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing/procurement, stakeholder management, relationship management, and influencing.
- The ability to wk independently with minimal supervision, exercise judgment, and autonomy.
