We as a firm are creating centralised teams to focus on delivering various operational tasks that are necessary in planning, conducting and completing audit engagements.

The Role Entails

We are currently hiring for a Head of Workforce Management role that will act as the lead for our new resource management team.

  • Responsibility for the effective and efficient allocation of resources across the Audit practice
  • Operations management – ensuring the smooth management of the resource management team
  • Reporting to Audit management teams, audit engagement teams and internal operations teams on resource scheduling, resource allocation and capacity management matters

This is a new role in the Audit practice and there will be scope for the role to evolve as the team grows and matures over time.

Role

We are currently seeking to hire a Head of Workforce Management within our Audit Practice for a permanent opportunity, based in Dublin.Your responsibilities in this role will centre around three key responsibilities - (1) Process Management (2) Liaison with Audit management teams and (3) Process development.

We ideally need you to have the following on your CV:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Qualifications: Minimum bachelor’s degree from a reputable university with an excellent academic result.
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised on day-to-day duties and tasks.
  • Self-motivated, take initiative and provide solutions and alternatives
  • Highly organized with an ability to multitask, to be flexible, proactive and prioritize and manage deadlines.
  • Act with integrity, fairness and with a strategic mindset.
  • A strong sense of accountability and commitment to delivering a quality service
  • Outstanding attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
  • A high degree of enthusiasm, adaptability, reliability and flexibility
  • Strong verbal (facilitation, phone servicing) and written (emails, internal/external correspondence) communication skills
  • Ability to manage and work closely with other team members to ensure delivery of a seamless service.
  • Motivate team members to take initiative, provide solutions and get the tasks done.
  • Collaborates and shares knowledge
  • Ability to understand the varying needs of the audit teams and work with them on a collaborative basis.
  • Comfort working with remote teams, both onshore Irish teams and offshore teams in India
  • Strong communication skills and has a problem solving, can-do attitude
  • Willingness to learn new skills to support the team, and to take on responsibility for delegated tasks
