Description:

This role will involve supporting sites, reacting to situations and communicating effectively to ensure compliance to H&S policies and legislation. It also involves completing risk assessments, carrying out audits and attending internal / external meetings.

• Maintain and develop the H&S management system in line with changing legislation or changing business practices

• Carry out risk assessments

• Support sites, providing training to departments in regards to H&S procedures

• Complete H&S audits across all stores and report on findings

• Identify key risk areas that need to be addressed

• Attend internal meetings and liaise with external government bodies or external auditors
• Advanced Diploma in H&S or relevant Degree
• Strong knowledge of H&S legislation

• Previous experience in a retail environment desirable
• Strong communicator with excellent problem solving /solutions focused skills
• Occupational First aid trained

• VDU assessor

• Fire warden
