Integrated Delivery Planning Manager

Description:

As the Integrated Delivery Planning Manager, you will be maintaining an up to date view of all planned development work against the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Enterprise Data Lake in our Data Solution team. You will assess the feasibility of the roadmap, tracking and managing dependencies between large, complex Programmes.

In this Role, you will
 

• Maintain an Integrated Master Portfolio Plan of all development work on the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and Enterprise Data Lake (EDL) across five core Value Streams (Home Buying, Everyday Banking, Pensions & Wealth, Corporate & Markets, and Data)
• Manage dependencies between Programmes and downstream consumers such as SAP (for Financial Reporting).
• Provide key inputs into Quarterly Portfolio Marketplace Planning & Review
• Support the Portfolio / Product Management function in analysing the viability of delivering on Programme demands against the delivery capacity of the EDW & EDL data teams.
• Coordinate release and other inter-programme dependencies.
• Support the wider Data Solutions Delivery team around recruitment and talent management.
• Inform resourcing decisions based on demand trends for the next 12 months
• Help the move from ad hoc individual Programme demand towards a Value Stream-based organisation
• Create Governance materials to inform collaborators on delivery progress and the do-ability of the 12-month roadmap, highlighting risks, dependencies, and potential challenges to
• Collaborate with Data Solutions colleagues across Programmes, Solution Design, Development, and Release Management
  
   

What will make you stand out?

You have 10 years' experience in delivering technology solutions with large scale delivery and data management. You have management experience within a complex business environment, including leading and influencing substantial numbers of non-direct reports and multiple 3rd party suppliers. You are a people manager, with leadership and management skills, influencing and relationship building.

You have a deep understanding of IT Industry standard methodology in Agile software delivery and solid experience of the end to end Agile SDLC. You have experience of Agile governance, operating models and partner management in a large complex environment. You have a solid understanding of the delivery risks faced by IT delivery and the controls in place to manage & mitigate these risks

Any of the following will help you to stand out but is not necessary in order to apply for this role;
 

• Knowledge of Data Warehouse Technologies and Architecture, specifically around SQL, Teradata Solutions, Informatica and Tableau
• Financial Services experience
