Reporting to our Head of Technical Services we are currently recruiting an IT Field Service Engineer based in the West /Mid-West Region to augment our current team covering the island of Ireland.

As an IT Field Service Engineer, you will:
Provide onsite support to our nationwide customer base. There might also be some requirement to travel to the UK from time to time with the needs for some overnight stays.
Liaise with other engineer’s/technicians and customers.
Diagnose/troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues at customer sites.
Install/Configure servers, computer equipment & peripherals.
Deal with Customers issues effectively and efficiently, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction with the services that we offer.

To be considered as an IT Field Service Engineer, you will need:

A proven third level qualification in an IT related discipline. The minimum qualification is that of CompTIA, but those with higher qualifications, up to and including degree level should also apply, as this role is used to advance suitable candidates’ careers.
Have experience and a proven track record in a similar customer facing role in the IT sector.
Excellent communication skills are important, especially being fluent in speaking and writing English.
Hold a full, clean Irish driving license.
You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, though occasional out of hours work may be required.
Once settled into the role you will join our on-call emergency support rota, for which you will be compensated.
