Key Account Manager

 

Description:

We are looking to strengthen our team with a dynamic, high performing sales professional with experience in managing key accounts in a B2B context. You will be responsible for retaining top customers, nurture those key relationships over time and grow revenue with these clients. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting recurring revenue quotas, and loves the challenges that come with developing successful strategic relationships.

You will report to the Commercial Director and work closely with Sales, Marketing and Operations.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Developing and managing a portfolio of key accounts,
  • Developing a business growth strategy that increases the number of connected users on our platform, jointly with key accounts,
  • Developing lasting relationships with key decision makers within the account,
  • Achieving revenue growth targets for the account portfolio,
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction,
  • Generating and closing of up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.

 

Who you are

 

  • Master degree or equivalent
  • Proven track record in building strategic and profitable relationships in a B2B software business
  • Be comfortable addressing C-suite executives as well as operational managers across the organization of your customer
  • Deep understanding of the energy retail market and software business
  • Strategic perspective, able to orchestrate deals and long-term plans that align with a mutually beneficial strategy (Win-Win)
  • Proven ability to sell on value in both strategic and financial terms
  • Excellent communication/presentation and negotiation skills
  • Enthusiastic and passionate, self starter
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
