Laptop Deployment Engineer

Realtime Recruitment is hiring multiple Laptop Deployment Engineers to support a nationwide rollout of Dell laptops across Ireland. This is a field-based contract role ideal for experienced IT professionals with hands-on expertise in hardware deployment, imaging, and troubleshooting.

Engineers will be responsible for delivering and configuring pre-imaged laptops at client sites, ensuring seamless plug-and-play functionality. While most devices will be ready for deployment, candidates must be confident in re-imaging and resolving technical issues when required.

This is a 4+ month contract involving travel across designated counties. A fuel card will be provided. All applicants must have access to their own vehicle, hold a full clean driving licence, and be Garda vetted (or willing to undergo vetting).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy Dell laptops to end users across multiple client sites within assigned regions
• Unbox, configure, and test devices according to deployment schedules and standards
• Provide on-site support for plug-and-play setup, connectivity, and initial login
• Re-image laptops and troubleshoot deployment-related issues when necessary
• Communicate clearly and professionally with end users and site contacts
• Maintain accurate records of deployments, issues, and resolutions
• Ensure all devices are deployed in line with client expectations and timelines
